Protests in the country over the death of Mahsa Amina, women burn their hijabs and oppose the Islamic Republic. Meanwhile, Iranian authorities are restricting Internet access in the country. On September 20, mass protests in Iran entered a new phase.

Protests against the government continue in Iran after the police beat to death 22-year-old Mahsa Amini for ” improper wearing of the hijab.”

Her relatives allege that she was severely beaten during her detention, while authorities say the young girl “had a heart attack.” Tehran police chief Sardar Hussein Rahimi said that the death of a 22-year-old girl Mahsa Amini is an accident, and information about this tragedy spread by the media is a complete lie.

Later, Fars News published a video from surveillance cameras, allegedly confirming the words Rahimi. The recording shows that a certain girl (presumably Machsa) communicates with representatives of the “moral police” in the room for “educational activities”, after which she loses consciousness. This is followed by footage of the injured girl being taken away by an ambulance.

The entire video lasts about a minute and it is not clear what happened before and after the woman fell. It is also unknown how much time elapsed between her fall and the arrival of emergency services.

Now, in protest, women across the country are burning hijabs and cutting off their hair.
