Microsoft has stopped shipping its next Windows update due to bugs. This is reported by the Windows Latest edition.
Reporters noticed that the urgent update KB5001649, recently released by the company, has been withdrawn. Users trying to install it encounter an error. Microsoft has already sent a new patch to a number of owners of licensed copies of the OS. The withdrawal of the update is associated with problems that it can cause: in particular, some users complained about the breakdown of the operating system after installing the update.
The material says that it is impossible to install KB5001649, since the built-in system utility cannot get the update from Microsoft servers. Journalists believe that in the near future the corporation specialists will prepare a new update for all users.
The described patch was supposed to fix problems related to printing documents. In mid-March, Microsoft representatives admitted that some users may experience a failure when printing through office equipment. In some cases, the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) is causing the problem.
OS users reported about the Windows-breaking update in early March. Crash occurs when using printers and MFPs from Kyocera, Ricoh, Zebra, and others.
