National Football League (NFL) Week 2: Superstar Tom Brady with five touchdown passes; Chiefs lose to Ravens.
On a day of multiple quarterback injuries, NFL star Tom Brady, 44, led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 48:25 win against the Atlanta Falcons with five touchdown passes. Of the big favorites for the Super Bowl, the defending champion is the only remaining team after two rounds next to the Los Angeles Rams without defeat. “There's a lot we can build on,” said seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs surprisingly suffered their first loss of the season. Against the Baltimore Ravens there was a 35:36 for the Super Bowl champion of 2020. In the duel between the two top quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, the Ravens around Jackson had the better end for themselves. Jackson came up with a touchdown pass and two self-run touchdowns as well as strong actions in critical phases of the game.
Some fellow quarterback colleagues had to abandon their missions injured, including Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins), Andy Dalton (Chicago Bears), Tyrod Taylor (Houston Texans) and Carson Wentz (Indianapolis Colts).
