Firefighters extinguish a burning dump of building materials on Volkhonskoe highway

EMERCOM employees extinguished a night fire on Volkhonskoe highway in the Leningrad region, the press service of the regional department of the department reports.

Rescuers received a message about the fire at 22:49, 26 firefighters and six pieces of equipment arrived at the scene.

Construction debris was burning on the territory of the industrial zone, the fire spread over an area of 2 thousand m2.

By 2:30 the firefighters managed to localize the fire, and at 3:30 – to liquidate the open burning.
