As a result of a fire in the intensive care unit of the Kosovo central regional hospital on the evening of December 28, three patients died and three more were injured. One patient died from coronavirus.

Fire report
First information about the fire in the intensive care unit of the Kosovo Central District Hospital, which is located on the first floor of a four-story hospital building, was admitted to rescuers at 21.22. The fire covered 55 sq. m of area.
Before the arrival at the scene of the investigation team, investigators of the Investigative Department, forensic experts, rescuers and other emergency services, the personnel managed to evacuate 12 patients from the premises.
What is known about the dead and injured
First, local rescuers said that they found the bodies of two patients at the scene.
However, sources of ICTV Facts reported that the preliminary number of victims was three.
At half past midnight, the head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Svetlana Onischuk confirmed this information.
In addition, another person died from the coronavirus, she said.
Three victims, who were in the neighboring ward, were sent to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital, where they receive the full range of assistance.
Sources of ICTV Facts clarify that the victims are in critical condition. In the morning of December 29, the issue of their transportation by helicopter to the burn center will be resolved.
