Fire alarm at Sky
Deadline day is not for the faint of heart, Sport Sport News even broke the fire alarm.
Just a few minutes before the transfer window in Germany closed, the Sky studio in Munich had other worries than last-minute transfers.
The fire alarm went off eleven minutes before 6 p.m. and just didn't stop. There was a live connection to the colleague from Italy who thought the siren was a joke.
“These Germans are freaking out, now they even have an alarm,” joked the transfer expert. But the studio moderators told him: “No, that's real, we're having real problems right now.”
“Please don't call me anymore, you get a headache,” laughed the Italian. After a few minutes of advertising, the alarm went off again, the transfer fans didn't miss anything, because nothing happened in Germany in the last few minutes.
