Ukrainian footballer Yaroslav Rakytsky terminated the agreement with St. Petersburg Zenit. This was announced by the official website of the Russian club from St. Petersburg.
The press service of the club wrote that the club terminated the contract with Rakitsky ahead of schedule “due to a difficult family situation.” They noted that the player asked for early termination of the contract with the club.
After the beginning of the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine on February 24, Yaroslav Rakitsky wrote in his post on the social network Instagram: I am a Ukrainian! Ukraine – peace! Stop war!
But soon Yaroslav was not afraid to name the aggressor.
– No war!!! Russian troops, stop attacking Ukraine! People and children suffer! We need peace! – wrote Rakitsky.
At the same time, he published a video with the atrocities of Russian troops in Ukraine, which ends with the words Glory to Ukraine! and the performance of Shche did not die Ukraine!
