The Ukrainian Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day, February 28, destroyed five enemy fighters. According to preliminary data, these are Su-30 and Su-35.
This is reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, Ukrainian aces near Vasilkov and Brovary intercepted and shot down two Russian aircraft. S-300 anti-aircraft missile battalions destroyed three aircraft of the invaders. That is, in the end – five fighters of the Russian Federation .
Near Kyiv, the Buk M-1 anti-aircraft missile system shot down a cruise missile and a helicopter of the Russian enemy.
“Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft worked in squads and in pairs and delivered several missile and bomb attacks on armored columns and enemy manpower in Kiev and Zhytomyr,” the General Staff reports.
In the Chernihiv region and near Berdyansk, Su-24m bombers made at least four strikes, destroying enemy tank columns, columns of mechanized equipment, and convoys with fuel and lubricants.
With the help of Bayraktar TB2 drones, it was possible to destroy a Russian enemy tank and two Buk anti-aircraft missile systems.
