Serbian Air Force MiG-21 fighter crashed in Serbia. This is stated in a statement on the website of the country's Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that this happened during the “performance of official tasks” in the area of the village of Brasina near the town of Mali-Zvornik (west of the country). The plane crashed at about 9 am local time (10:00 Moscow time).
It is noted that rescuers have already been sent to the scene. Presumably, the fighter pilot died.
On September 22, a Su-30 fighter crashed in the Tver region. It was noted that the plane fell in the forest, there was no destruction on the ground. The pilots successfully ejected and got in touch after landing. At the moment, the crew has been evacuated to the home airfield.
