The International Football Federation (FIFA) has decided to take care of the pregnant football players. Reported by the Associated Press.
The organization has presented to the clubs a list of requirements that will protect the maternal rights of female players. The teams want to oblige athletes to provide at least 14 weeks of maternity leave to athletes, which must be paid in the amount of two-thirds of a football player's regular salary. In addition, the club will have to create conditions for the return of a young mother to sports and provide her with medical support.
