The police said they would try to negotiate with the protesters.

In Poland, on December 19, Ukrainian drivers blocked several highways. Protesters explain that they are tired of the blockade of the Ukrainian border.

The Polish publication Onet writes about this.

On Tuesday, December 19, in at least two places, Ukrainian drivers began spontaneously blocking roads. In particular, at the exit from Chelm in the direction of Lublin.

“Ukrainian drivers spontaneously came to the pedestrian crossing, they walk along this crossing, obstruct and block the passage. We are on the spot and are negotiating with them to stop the protest,” said Commissioner Eva Chizh, press -officer of the Chelm City Police.

Police have set up detours for those traveling on these roads.

Ukrainian carriers are also blocking the road to Brzezno, between Chelm and Dorogusk. From time to time, drivers from Ukraine, dissatisfied with the situation, go out to the pedestrian crossing and walk in circles.

“They say that they are tired of the current situation and the ongoing blockade of border crossings. With their behavior they want to draw attention to a problem that concerns them,” says a Polish resident living near the Ukrainian border.

Let us remind you that the Poles have again blocked the Dorogusk-Yagodin checkpoint.
