FBI agent killed during search in child pornography case

by alex

At least one FBI agent was killed while trying to search Florida on child pornography. This is reported by the Miami Herald.

The incident took place in the city of Sunrise. A man suspected of possessing child pornography barricaded himself in his house and opened fire on law enforcement officers. As a result of the shootout, one or even two FBI agents were killed and several others were injured.

The shooter himself allegedly committed suicide a few hours later in the siege.

In July 2020, it became known that an American pedophile, sentenced to 1,000 years in prison, was released on parole after just eight years of serving his sentence. Peter Mallory was arrested and charged with possession of obscene pictures of children, tampering with evidence and invading privacy in 2011. However, the court of appeal ruled that the pedophile had already served a sufficient time, and after three weeks the man was released.
