Scientists from China have proven the dangers of eating fatty foods. It is reported by iNews.
Fried foods have been reported to increase the risk of serious cardiovascular disease and stroke. Scientists have analyzed the results of 19 studies, the participants of which were 562.4 thousand people. The average follow-up period for participants was over nine years. During this time, 36.7 thousand cases of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attack or stroke, were identified among them.
Researchers found a clear linear relationship between the amount of fried food consumed and serious cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease, and heart failure. The risks were found to increase with every additional 114 grams of fried food per week.
Scientists from China, Australia and Qatar have previously discovered unexpected harm from the regular consumption of chicken eggs. Experts analyzed nutritional data for 8,545 people collected from 1991 to 2009. Scientists have found that a daily intake of more than 38 grams of eggs increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 25 percent. People who ate one egg a day (more than 50 grams) had a 60 percent increased risk of the disease. This indicator was higher among women than among men.
