On the N-11 Nikolaev-Dnepr highway there was a road traffic accident involving two trucks.
The incident took place near the village of Kozanka on Sunday, December 12, at about 6.35, the press service of the local administration of the National Police reports.
According to preliminary data, the 45-year-old DAF truck driver lost control and collided with a truck of the same make. The car was parked by the side of the road as the driver was repairing it.
The 57-year-old driver of the second truck was killed at the scene, and the man driving the second was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries of varying severity.
Law enforcers establish all the circumstances of the incident, after which a legal assessment will be given to the incident.
