The world was shocked by the terrible news from Indonesia, where a giant python, about eight meters long, completely swallowed an adult man.
A shocking event took place in the village of Majapahit in Indonesia. A 63-year-old farmer named La Noti, who went missing on his plantation, was found dead in the belly of an eight-meter python.
This was reported by the Indonesian publication Antara.
A story reminiscent of a horror movie scenario unfolded in South Bouton. La Notie, a local farmer, went to his plantation but never returned home. Alarmed neighbors, with whom he was supposed to meet, learned from relatives that the man had disappeared and immediately set out to search for him.
The missing farmer's motorcycle was parked near his hut, but La Noti himself was nowhere to be found.
Suspicion immediately seized the villagers. Armed with knives, they caught the eight-metre reptile and, filled with terror and determination, cut open its belly. Their worst fears were confirmed: inside the giant snake, the body of the missing La Noti was found.
As the publication notes, the python probably attacked the farmer while he was feeding chickens on his plantation. Since the man was unarmed, he had no chance against such a huge and fast snake.
Local authorities confirmed that this was the first such incident in the area. However, it turns out that python attacks on people have occurred before in other parts of Indonesia. Especially during the rainy season, these predators sneak into plantations to shoot livestock, and from time to time, people also become their victims. This incident was a tragic reminder of the dangers that await people in the wild.
