Falkov launched Priority 2030

Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, has officially announced the start of competitive selection for the Priority 2030 program.

Priority 2030 will become the largest program of state support for universities in Russia. The project is intended to form a large group of universities that will become leaders in the scientific and technological field and drivers of regional development. Universities from all regions of the country that meet the criteria for the number of students, funding and R&D income will be able to apply for support.

Special methodological webinars will be held for university representatives – candidates. They will explain the rules for preparing and submitting a package of documents.

The Priority 2030 program is carried out within the framework of the federal project Development of Integration Processes in Science, Higher Education and Industry of the Science and Universities national project, as well as the Human Resources for the Digital Economy federal project of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation national program. It is designed for 10 years. It is expected that at the first stage (2021 – 2025) about 52 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of universities.
