The department noted that this is the largest fine in the entire 35-year history of the anti-discrimination provisions of the law on immigration and citizenship.
“Facebook is not above the law and must comply with our nation's federal civil rights laws, which prohibit discriminatory employment practices,” said Justice Department Civil Rights Officer Kristen Clark.
