Access to the previously deleted page of the RT Redfish project on Facebook was limited by automated tools by mistake, the social network reported.
“Access to the RT Redfish Facebook page was mistakenly restricted by our automated tools and is now restored,” RIA Novosti reported.
Earlier, Facebook moderators removed the project page of the RT Redfish TV channel with more than 800 thousand subscribers for two posts with historical photographs.
The project published posts with historical photographs depicting the execution of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and the atrocities of the Nazis in concentration camps.
The publications were timed to coincide with memorable dates: the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Italy from the dictatorship of Mussolini and the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
Roskomnadzor demanded that Facebook remove all restrictions from the project page.
Facebook brought back the deleted page of the RT Redfish project, but imposed restrictions.
