The total number of fighters will be 24 units.
The Netherlands will supply Ukraine with an additional six more F-16 fighters.
This was reported by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Kaisa Ollongren in X.
“The Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands is preparing to deliver 6 more F-16 fighters to Ukraine. This brings the total number of to 24 F-16s. Russia's air superiority is important for countering Russian aggression,” her post reads.
Recall that earlier the Ministry of the country suggested that Western fighters will be in Ukraine this year.
By the way, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, announced the appearance in Ukraine of F-16 fighters with missiles at 300-500 km.
