At different times, animals lived on the planet, which now cannot be found. They died out for various reasons, but if they survived to this day, they would have had a hard time and, most likely, they would have disappeared anyway.
1. Dunkleosti. This predatory fish swam in the ocean about 380 million years ago. The six-meter fish weighed about a ton and had teeth that could grind anything. Dunkleostea fed on other marine life in the vicinity. However, in that era, the inhabitants of the depths were massive and moved slowly, and therefore fell into the mouth of predators. But today's fish, having decreased in size, have become more nimble, so that a heavy dunkleosteus would hardly have chased them and simply died of hunger.
2. Titanoboa. The giant snake, which grew up to 13 meters in length and weighed about a thousand kilograms, lived 60 million years ago and was the most dangerous predator. The reptile preferred to stay in the shade or hid in the water to lie in wait for the victim. Titanoboa could easily strangle a large animal, such as crocodiles or mammals. If titanoboa could survive to this day, she would have faced difficulties in nutrition: crocodiles are on the verge of extinction, and other animals received speed as a result of evolution, so they could hide from a clumsy snake.
