Espectador: police officers and one civilian were killed due to an attack by bandits in Colombia

Three people were killed in Colombia as a result of explosions in different parts of the country. This is reported by the local newspaper El Espectador.
In total, there were two explosions organized by unknown persons. In the Colombian municipality of El Bagre, Antioquia department in the north of the country, two policemen were killed and another was injured. Unknown assailants attacked a police patrol with explosive devices.
Also, a car bomb exploded in the city of Saravena in the Arauca department in the northeast of the country. As a result, one more person was killed and five were injured. Police believe that the first attack was organized by the Gulf Clan gang as revenge for the arrest of three of its members. The “Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia” are suspected of the second.
On December 14, two explosions occurred at the airport of the city of Cucuta in Colombia on the border with Venezuela. As a result, two police officers and the suicide bomber who triggered the first bomb were killed. At the moment, all flights are suspended. According to eyewitnesses, the explosions were so strong that the buildings adjacent to the airport were damaged.
