On the night of July 5, explosions rocked a gas and water main in the Russian city of Vladivostok, causing a massive fire. Sources said the destroyed lines ran along the coast of the Sea of Japan.

The Vladivostok gas pipeline, in particular, supplies gas to a number of military installations along the coast of the Sea of Japan. Among them are some units of the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet.
Interestingly, part of the gas pipeline was commissioned only in March 2025.
The explosions also destroyed the water supply system that supplied drinking water to military garrisons.
Russia does not want to publicize the destruction of the Vladivostok, and therefore turned off the Internet and communications in Lazurnaya Bay (Shamora).
