In the separatist region of Moldova, only a handful of sleeping Russian "peacekeepers" may remain.
Mi helicopter 8, which unexpectedly burned down on Sunday, March 17, on the territory of a military unit in Transnistria, was one of the few operational and repairable.
This was reported in a commentary by the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko.
According to him, it is difficult to say what exactly caused the explosion, but the result was the loss of a combat-ready air unit by the Russian-backed separatists.
“ Yes, look, because of some strange UFOs in the sky over the “PMR” [unrecognized Transnistrian Moldavian Republic] in their army, all technical and mechanized components may generally fail. All that will remain is a bunch of sleeping peacekeepers and a local football team,” Kovalenko noted ironically.
Recall that a helicopter exploded and burned on the territory of one of the military units of the separatist region of Moldova near Tiraspol. An attack drone was reported in Transnistria.
