An explosion occurred at a gas station in Rome, Italy, after a traffic accident. As a result, several people were injured – at least a firefighter and a medical worker. Several passers-by were also presumably injured.
The incident occurred on the morning of July 4. Rescuers were called to the scene after a truck drove into a pipeline. When specialists were working at the gas station, a powerful explosion occurred.

During the emergency, the blast wave damaged several neighboring buildings. Flames from the fire reached a warehouse located behind the gas station.
