Many iOS WhatsApp users face the same problem over and over again. When they try to take a photo while in the messenger, they see the message “Can't start the camera, please restart your device”.
Experts talked about how to deal with this bug. Their advice was shared by the resource Gadgetstouse.
The first step is to reboot your device. If this does not help, you can try to find WhatsApp in the applications menu and check if the messenger has permission to use the camera.
If that doesn't solve the problem, it's worth trying to force stop using WhatsApp. This is done in the “Applications and notifications” section in the settings. Having done this, you need to select the “Clear cache” item in the same menu – most often it is at this stage that the error disappears.
But if the camera still does not work in the application, you can check the functionality of the camera itself. To do this, you need to take a photo by logging out of WhatsApp.
Well, the experts call reinstalling the messenger the last fix option.
