Service “DamProdam” conducted a study and found out how many owners manage to change iPhones before failing.
According to experts, the latest iPhone models, including the iPhone Xs, iPhone 11 and iPhone 12, are replacing approximately three owners.
Experts clarified that the main disadvantages when buying a used iPhone that is no more than three years old is the need to replace the battery or minor scratches on the display. In addition, if the old owner changed the screen, there is a chance that the smartphone has a broken Face ID or Touch ID. True, this happens mainly during self-repair or when contacting low-quality services.
“All three years that we have been in the trade-in business, we can definitely say that there is an obvious leader in the used equipment market – and this is the iPhone. So far, the preconditions that will change this alignment are not even close to being outlined. Until now, the 2016 iPhone 7 is a popular model, “- said the co-founder of the DamProdam service.
