Armin Mujakic
The former rapid kicker Armin Mujakic is taking a break from football and wants to take a break in his career.
“At the moment I don't see any sense in continuing my career – and I don't feel the fire to take risks anymore,” the now 26-year-old explained his break to the “Krone”.
“However, I don't want to write off football completely. Maybe the desire will come back,” said the native of Vienna, who was repeatedly thrown back by injuries. The 26-year-old had to undergo operations on both knees a total of five times.
Mujakic grew up in the green and white offspring, having completed four Bundesliga games for the green and whites in the 2017/18 season. Then the striker moved to Atromitos Athens. The Greeks were trained by Damir Canadi at the time. Mujakic also played for the Belgian second division club Lommel and the South Korean second division club Chungnam Asan.
The striker was most recently active in the Austrian regional league for Traiskirchen. Whether Mujakic will ever lace up his football boots again is an open question. The striker is employed in the personnel department of the police.
