Uli Hoeneß
As President of Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeneß has already taken his hat. Now he's giving up another job.
Namely that of the TV expert for RTL at international matches of the German national team. And that after just three missions. Hoeneß didn't owe the fans anything, used his appearances for sharp criticism of the DFB. But after the games against Iceland (3: 0), Romania (1: 0) and North Macedonia (1: 2) it should be over, RTL is already looking for a successor.
According to “Bild” the broadcaster wanted to extend Hoeneß, but hesitated at his last live appearance. “I had a lot of fun, I'll think about it in peace,” he said at the time. RTL now says: “The collaboration was only agreed for the three March games from the start. It was a lot of fun for us and Mr. Hoeneß, and we are still in good and regular exchange.”
It is therefore open who will succeed Hoeneß. What is certain is the program for the future TV expert, namely the games against Denmark (June 2nd) and Latvia (June 7th).
