Jerome Boateng moves to France. The former Bayern star has signed with Olympique Lyon.
On the last day of the summer transfer window, Jerome Boateng, who was previously without a club, found a new employer. The 32-year-old is now playing for French club Lyon.
His contract with FC Bayern, like that of ÖFB star David Alaba, expired at the end of the season. Unlike at Alaba (Real Madrid), he had a hard time finding a club.
Now the German world champion has signed in Ligue 1. For two years, as “Sky” reports.
His coach there was his opponent in the Bundesliga for years: Peter Bosz was Dortmund and most recently Leverkusen coach.
