According to the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia Maksut Shadayev, by 2023 all teachers, in all regions of the country, should receive tablet computers with an electronic journal installed on them, a lesson verification plan and with all the tools necessary for productive work.
Shadayev stressed that this is one of the steps towards the digitalization of educational institutions. By 2024, all schools in the country should have wireless access points connected to ensure high-quality lessons, with all the possibilities of the Internet.
“For us, the center of digitalization is the teacher. The teacher should be given the opportunity to use it all. We agreed with the Ministry of Education to include in the digital economy program of separate tasks related to the fact that in 2023 each teacher will receive a tablet, which will be his access to the world of modern digital opportunities, ”the head of the Ministry of Digital Science emphasized.
