The Danish film “One More Each” was named the best film of the year by the European Film Academy. It is reported by Deadline.com.
In addition to the main award, the tape won several more nominations. Its creator Thomas Winterberg was named Best Director and shared the script award with his co-writer Tobias Lindholm. Mads Mikkelsen, who played the main role, was named Best Actor.
The films “The Body of Christ” by Polish director Jan Komasa and “Martin Eden” by Italian Pietro Marcello also nominated for the Best Film nomination.
Paula Behr, who played in the film “Ondine”, was chosen as the best actress. The best documentary was Romanian director Alexander Nanau's “The Collective”, which tells about corruption in the health sector that led to the death of people.
Danish filmmaker Toms Winterberg co-authored the Dogma 95 manifesto and created the first Dogma-style movie, Triumph. In 2019, his film was released in Russia, dedicated to the sinking of the Russian submarine Kursk.
