The European Union has reduced the number of countries for whose citizens entry restrictions will be phased out. The corresponding decision was published on the website of the European Council.

Japan was removed from the list. Thus, only seven countries remain on the list: Australia, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and China.

At the same time, it is clarified that the restrictions on entry do not affect residents of Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican.

According to WHO, over 33 million cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Europe for all time. 722 thousand people died from complications caused by the disease.
