After the participation of DPRK troops in Russia's war against Ukraine was revealed, diplomatic pressure is planned to be increased on North Korea.
The European Union intends to increase diplomatic pressure on the DPRK due to the participation of North Korean troops in Russia's war against Ukraine.
This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell during a visit to Kiev, writes RBC-Ukraine.
“This is the globalization of war. Who would have thought that the North Korean military would fight against the Ukrainian ones,” Borrell emphasized, calling the participation of the DPRK troops one of the most alarming events of recent days.
The head of EU diplomacy said that he recently visited Seoul, where he discussed issues of diplomatic pressure on North Korea in the Indo-Pacific region.
“I was there to impose diplomatic pressure on the DPRK in the Indo-Pacific region so that it understands that this is not the right path. And we will continue to exert diplomatic pressure to avoid increasing such a presence,” Borrell emphasized.
We remind you that NATO also considers the dispatch of DPRK troops to the Russian Federation a dangerous expansion of Russia's unprovoked aggressive war against Ukraine.
