The EU will impose sanctions for the first time in against two Russians and three Russian organizations falling under the Syrian sanctions regime.
On Wednesday, December 8, the European Union will impose sanctions against mercenaries from PMC “Wagner” and Russians involved in the war in Syria .
This was announced on Twitter by Radio Liberty's Brussels correspondent Ricard Jozwiak.
“EU ambassadors on Wednesday should give the green light to sanctions against the Wagner group and the three Russians, which are linked with these mercenaries within the framework of the global sanctions regime, “the journalist said.
Also, Rikard Jozwiak added that the EU for the first time will impose sanctions against two Russians and three Russian organizations falling under Syrian th sanction mode.
