EU may ease package of sanctions on Russian oil exports – media

by alex

The European Union may ease the package of sanctions on the export of Russian oil to third countries.

Bloomberg writes about this.

As reported, mitigation is possible for Russian oil exports to third countries. However, the key provision of the sanctions on transportation supposedly remains in place and will continue to hinder the ability of the Russian Federation to export raw materials.

“According to the documents, the bloc will abandon the proposed ban on EU-owned ships that transport Russian oil to third countries. It is important that the insurance ban is still in place and will remain a significant barrier to exports,” writes Bloomberg.

Recall that Kuleba discussed with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Russia’s responsibility for crimes in Ukraine.
