The stunning successes of far-right parties in the parliamentary elections in European Union (EU) meetings over the weekend put continued support for Ukraine at risk.

Voters have largely chosen moderates and leftists, but far-right gains in Europe threaten efforts to prop up Kyiv or rein in Russia. The biggest threat comes from the far-right French party Marine Le Pen's National Rally, which won a majority of seats in France and forced new elections in Paris.
