Estonian MP Loone calls arms shipments to Kiev “crazy in every way”

Estonian MP Oudekki Loone criticized the decision of the Ministry of Defense to supply Ukraine with Javelin missiles and 122-mm howitzers and called her country a petty vicious provocateur. The politician wrote about this on her Facebook page.
In the post, Loone turned to the head of the military department Kalle Laanet, with a request to make sure that “the bureaucrats did not do anything that could further harm” Estonian diplomacy. She stressed that the supply of weapons contradicts the Minsk agreements, which provide for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
“The very fact that we are supplying Ukraine with weapons from which they will kill the residents of Donbass is madness in every respect … Besides, everyone understands that these weapons will be used against the Russians … The only message here from our side is that Estonia is petty evil provocateur “, – wrote the deputy.
In her opinion, some of the employees of the Estonian Ministry of Defense want, “albeit indirectly, but still get involved in a war with Russia.”
At the end of December 2021, it became known that Estonia had decided to supply Ukraine with Javelin anti-tank missiles and 122-mm howitzers. This was announced by the head of the international cooperation department of the Ministry of Defense Peeter Kuymet.
