Estonia is considering providing Ukraine not only Javelin missiles, but also other defensive weapons

The Ministry of Defense has sent Estonia a list with the necessary list of weapons.

The Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine, Kaimo Kuusk, said that they are thinking about additional military assistance to Ukraine due to the growth of the Russian armed forces at our borders.

He said this in an interview with Suspilny.

According to him, Estonia is working with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to provide additional defense weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He stressed that as soon as the government makes a decision, Estonia will transfer military assistance to our army to protect the borders.

“We are currently working with Ukrainian institutions, in particular the Ministry of Defense, on what else we can provide. They shared with us a list of what is most in demand, and we look: we no longer have this in stock, but we probably have something else. The government makes a decision — if it is positive, we will transfer weapons,” the Estonian ambassador said.

In addition, he mentioned that Javelin anti-tank missiles, which Estonia had previously transferred, will arrive in the coming days. According to him, their exact number will be announced publicly.

Earlier, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which are NATO allies, received the necessary permits from the United States to quickly send weapons and continue arms supplies to Ukraine against the background of a possible Russian invasion. In particular, we are talking about Javelin anti-tank missile systems and Stinger surface-to-air missiles.
