Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan answered his colleagues from Russia, the United States and France regarding the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. He is quoted by Reuters.

He stressed that the interference of other countries in current events is unacceptable. Erdogan rebuked Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron for ignoring the Nagorno-Karabakh problem over the past 30 years.

The Turkish leader also demanded that Armenia immediately withdraw its troops. In his opinion, only after that peace will come to the region.

Earlier, the presidents of Russia, France and the United States made a joint statement on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, in which they called on the parties to the conflict to immediately end hostilities. In a joint statement, they condemned “the escalation of violence taking place on the contact line in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.” The leaders of the three countries called on the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume negotiations to resolve the situation with the assistance of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. The parties also expressed condolences to the families of those killed and wounded.

The fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) began on September 27. Azerbaijan accused the Armenian military of shelling its positions, while Armenia accuses the Azerbaijani military of attacking Artsakh.
