The head of Turkey is convinced of the effectiveness of the Palestinian-Israeli international peace conference.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is proposing to hold an international conference to create a new security mechanism to achieve peace between Palestine and Israel.

He said this after the government meeting on October 31.

“There is a need to cease fire and open the way to permanent peace. We believe it is necessary to create a new security mechanism in cooperation with actors in the region. We are convinced that the Palestinian-Israeli international peace conference with the participation of all interested parties will be a good platform for this,” Erdogan said.

Let us recall that on October 28, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at a pro-Palestinian rally of thousands, which took place at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. In his speech, the Turkish leader spoke about the Gaza Strip as an important and close territory for Turkey and hinted to Western countries about a new “confrontation of the Cross and Crescent.”

Let us note that against the backdrop of recent events in the world, experts are increasingly beginning to talk about the threat of a Third World War. This could result from an escalation of the military conflict in the Middle East.
