High-quality oil discovered in two exploratory wells in Adana, Turkey.
Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a planned increase in oil production at a new field in Adana in southern Turkey.

Erdogan, in particular, said that in two wells in Turkish Adana, where exploration work, high-quality oil was discovered. According to him, the value of the reserves is estimated at about $1 billion.
Oil reserves have been explored at a shallow depth – 425 and 358 meters. By the end of this year, the Turkish government plans to add 8 more exploratory wells to two exploration wells and begin active production at this field.
Recall that earlier Turkey began laying a gas pipeline off its coast to a field in the Black Sea. According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 10 million cubic meters of natural gas will flow into the gas transmission system from here in the first quarter of 2023.
