Employees of the Russian Embassy in Manila in the Philippines and their family members have been evacuated, TASS reports with reference to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
It is also reported that now the fire in the building of the Russian embassy has been extinguished, there are no injuries. “There are no victims or injured. The employees and their family members who were at the embassy have been evacuated,” the Russian ministry said in a statement.
Earlier it was reported that the building of the Russian Embassy in the Philippines received significant damage as a result of a strong fire. The causes of the fire are being investigated. In cooperation with the Philippine emergency services, the main source of fire was promptly eliminated.
