Elon Musk shared what difficulties his company Tesla had to face due to the global shortage of chips.

The head of Tesla said that the corporation is not able to fully implement orders for the proprietary lithium-ion battery – Powerwall – due to a shortage of components. He calculated that it is required to release at least 80 thousand batteries, while now it is difficult to produce 35 thousand copies.
All this is triggered by a global shortage of chips, and this led to great difficulties in Tesla's business at the end of the last spring month.
