American entrepreneur Elon Musk advocated cooperation between the United States and Russia in space. The head of Tesla and SpaceX said this during his speech at the Russian forum “New Knowledge” on Friday, May 21.
“I think the space station has an important function. Cooperation in space is important. The next logical step is a base on the Moon, a city on Mars. And so that there was originally a base on Mars. It is wonderful that we are currently establishing contacts and we will have more contacts between Russia and the United States, ”he stressed.
Elon Musk in his speech also noted the impressive achievements of the USSR in the development of rockets and the space industry in general. The entrepreneur called for “fighting for an optimistic future.”
