American entrepreneur, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, commented on the test of the Starship spacecraft prototype and its explosion after landing. He wrote about this in the comments under his post on Twitter.
“Starship SN10 has landed safe and sound!” Musk said.
The founder of the company noted that the SpaceX team is doing a tremendous job. He added that someday the real sign of success will be when Starship flights will become commonplace.
Earlier it was reported that the Starship prototype exploded a few minutes after landing at the Boca Chica training ground in the US state of Texas. During the tests, the ship climbed to an altitude of about ten kilometers, performed the planned maneuvers, re-started the engines before landing and successfully completed it.
