You need to understand how to switch to your resources in the event of a disconnection of the Internet, says Leonty Bukshtein.
The head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, proposed conducting exercises to turn off the Internet in Russia. Leonty Bukshtein, editor-in-chief of the Internet portal “Mobile Telecommunications”, shared his opinion on this initiative on the air of Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda (radiokp.ru).
“When we started talking about a sovereign Internet, critics began to speak out that we would isolate ourselves from everyone, this would limit our possibilities. And if those who command the Internet are turned off, will this not limit the possibilities? When it comes to hot, we will understand what it is. Maybe those who have a finger on the pulse need to understand how to be, how to switch to their resources. I think the idea is sensible, although not simple, ”Bukstein explained.
Such preparation will take a lot of time, but in the end, efforts will be justified in the event of a critical situation.
Earlier, in connection with a global disruption in the work of social networks and messengers, Khinshtein said that it was necessary to protect digital sovereignty.
