Kim Jong-un needs troops who will return with new experience, and not in coffins, noted Valeriy Ryabykh.
In the event of effective use of ATACMS missiles, in particular against units from North Korea in Kursk area, this may influence Kim Jong-un's decision to send additional troops to the Russian Federation.
This opinion was expressed by military expert Valery Ryabykh on the air of “Espresso”.
“And here, too, this may be very important, especially against the backdrop of the North Korean dictator's statement about preparing for war and allegedly, say, plans in the future and the possibility of sending his colleague, the Russian dictator, up to 100 thousand more North Korean troops. Well, allegedly with the goal of gaining the same experience and preparing for the same war. However, in conditions where most of the troops that the North Korean dictator sends are literally disposed of with the help of ATACMS, then one can think, especially within the framework of the same first batch of up to 12 thousand, that this may significantly influence the further decision regarding sending North Korean troops to help Russians. Because first of all, the same North Korean dictator needs troops that will return with new experience, and not in coffins,” the expert believes.
Recall that earlier, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko, commenting on the sending of North Korean troops to war in Ukraine, said that North Korean fighters trained in the war with Ukraine will pose a threat to NATO countries.
