- Scientists of the Center. Gamaleys made preparations based on new strains of coronavirus to update the Sputnik V vaccine, but so far there is no such need, said the director of the institution, Alexander Gintsburg. Early next year, the center may begin clinical trials of a vaccine that will contain proteins from several strains of the coronavirus.

- The Czech President will receive the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the spring. Milos Zeman also indicated that he would be ready to support the idea of compulsory vaccination of the population of the republic if the third wave of a pandemic begins in the Czech Republic.
