The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) asked Russia not to liquidate Memorial ( recognized as an NGO-foreign agent in the Russian Federation ) until the dispute under the law on inagents is resolved in the Strasbourg court. This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the ECHR.
“In the interests of the parties and for the proper conduct of the hearings, the execution of decisions on the liquidation of organizations should be suspended for the period of time that will be necessary for the court to consider complaint 9988/13,” the letter of the ECHR says.
