An earthquake was recorded in the central part of South Korea.
In the central part of South Korea on Saturday morning, February 11, for about 180 kilometers south of the capital Seoul, an earthquake of magnitude 2.3 occurred.
This was reported by the Meteorological Administration of the Republic of Korea, writes Yonhap.
Earthquake epicenter was at a depth of 13 km. No damage or casualties are yet known. Local authorities are collecting data to assess possible damages.
It is also reported that the earthquake in the area has become 44 since 1978, when earthquake monitoring began in South Korea.
Recall, the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria has increased to 24,218 people. In addition, about 80,000 people were injured as a result of the earthquake. Nearly 93,000 more victims were evacuated from the disaster area in southern Turkey.
